World Tour 2009-10 report-First stop : ChipEXPO - Moscow, Russia
As part of the 2009-10 World Tour, Broker Forum and its sponsors attended the 7th International Exhibition on Electronics, Microelectronics and Components “ChipEXPO-2009” held Oct 21st- 23rd 2009 at the Expocentr In Moscow.
We are very happy to report that the show was a success. Despite the current economic climate, over 8000 attendees visited with 245 companies from 9 countries including the National Pavilions of Germany and Taiwan.
The Broker Forum booth was very busy. Our 10 present sponsors had the opportunity to meet with over 100 potential customers, as well as several of our current Russian members, and members from Germany, Israel, and the USA. The Broker Forum was also approached by several companies wishing to become members and develop varied types of partnerships.
Satisfaction levels from our members was high, and we look forward to repeating our presence at this event next year.

The exhibition was opened by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade YI Borisov, who stressed that "the exhibition has become the center of the demonstration of new technologies for making electronic components, products, radio industry and industry communications. Exhibition activities are contributing to the realization of important objectives: the promotion of products of domestic enterprises to the domestic and world markets, increase sales volumes of domestic electronic products, and reduce the proportion of imported components in the manufacture of electronic products.
