TBF enables online Moderators for stock control

As part of its ongoing activities to ensure a better Search experience for its clientele The Broker Forum is now making it possible for some of its members to signal when inventories posted on Search results are of suspect quantities, carry wrong or obsolete date codes, or have mistaken information.

With this initiative The Broker Forum is truly breaking new ground by enabling the community to improve the quality of information available to all members.

How does it work ?

When performing searches members with the Moderator status have the ability to “flag” suspect inventories and send The Broker Forum Quality Assurance Group a quick online message outlining the part # and the nature of the flag. Moderators also have the ability to upload supporting documentation.

Once received by our QA Team the moderation is evaluated and appropriate actions taken. These may include: removing a part # and date code from all members’ inventories, pushing a member’s inventory to avails, removing a member’s right to post inventory, etc….

Who can moderate ?

The Broker Forum is looking for members in good standing to become moderators on its website. Moderators are rewarded with a new   tag that will be visible in their member profile. All moderators must be approved by The Broker Forum Management.

Should you have any questions regarding this program or should you be interested in becoming a Moderator on The Broker Forum, we invite you to send an e-mail to Patrick Bennadji (pbennadji@brokerforum.com) or contact your account manager.
