RSS feeds now available on The Broker Forum
In the wake of our recent efforts to allow our members to have an
easier access to important information on The Broker Forum, no matter
where they are or what platform they are using, TBF has launched last
week a new series of RSS feeds.
The objective of the RSS initiative is to allow our members to receive:
In-house orders, Requirements, OEM excess and Stock Offers in a manner
that will keep them one-click away from taking action on TBF.
Our aim is to provide our members with key information in a timely
manner, in a format that is cost and time effective. 4 different RSS
feeds are now available, and we invite our members to contact their
account manager should they require additional information on how to
benefit from this new feature.
Improvements to the Counterfeit Watch system
The Broker Forum has just launched an internal initiative to pool key
information about members to better identify those who show patterns of
bad behavior in the distribution of counterfeit products area. A new
internal points based system (Counterfeit Watch) has just been
implemented, allowing information from various entry points (Escrow
system, Member feedback, Mediation, direct complaints), and track those
members who violate our Terms and Conditions.
Key to the success of this initiative is the participation of all our
members. We look forward to collaborating with you on this crucial
industry issue.
Changes to the In Stock Certified program
Starting this month, our In Stock Certified members can expect some
changes to the way the program is being handled. Members will now
receive online notifications of pending verification requests, and will
have the opportunity of uploading the required information directly
online, rather than sending it via e-mail. Also, please note that
members who fail the ISCP Stock Control process will not only be
assessed a strike as per the program’s guidelines, they will also be
assessed an automated negative rating.
ISCP members should also expect additional checks to be performed by
The BrokerForum, as we are now moving into automating a larger part of
the scheduling process.
The objective of this program has always been to provide our buyers
with pertinent information in the Search results, and to help them save
time at the RFQ stage of the transaction, thus providing value to all
of our community in the long run. We look forward to our ISCP members’
cooperation in this process.
All of us at The Broker Forum would like to thank our members for their
continued support, and look forward to any comments you might have
about our services. We may always be reached via your Account Manager
or
support@brokerforum.com.
